Description
No cutting and no gluing needed for this fun and informational Holidays Around the World set of foldable books and passages! Students will read a short passage and then create a book by simply folding. Copy the pages two sided, and fold into fourths, it’s so simple.
Six holidays around the world are included: Diwali, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, Santa Lucia Day, and Las Posadas.
Each holiday includes a short reading passage and a foldable book. Each book has short writing prompts to complete about each holiday.
To assemble, simply copy two sided; fold in half and then fold again in fourths to make a small book! If you are printing two sided from your printer, choose to “flip pages on the long side” to print on both sides.
This is a fun activity to celebrate the holidays!
Digital slides are now available for ALL SIX holiday. Please re-download for the updated files.
This set foldable books are also part of a bundle of foldable books. This is a money saving bundle! You will get foldable books for special occasions for the WHOLE YEAR!
You can find the whole bundle at a discounted price HERE!

I was looking for a way to teach my students about different holidays around the world and to allow them to share about the holidays they celebrate and this was a great resource. It opened up good conversation and allowed the students a place to write their thinking before sharing with their friends.
